How do I start using Yendo?
Before you can use Yendo you will need two things:
- A web designer. The Yendo software will manage your website but it does not remove the need to get a web designer to create the 'look' of your website. You will need to appoint a web designer to design your site and to create suitable HTML templates. Web designer resources are available on the Yendo wiki
- Website Hosting. Your website will need somewhere to live so you will need to buy a suitable hosting package from a suitable provider. You will need to get Windows hosting with IIS, ASP.NET and support for SQL Server 2005 or 2008.
When you have these two things in place it is then a matter of downloading the Yendo software and installing by following the instructions on the Yendo content management wiki.
